The all-new Ozark Trail 4 Person Four Season Dome Tent is the tent of the season. Whether you re camping in the backyard or hiking in the mountains this 8 x 8.5 dome tent has you covered. This model features a fun and bright color scheme; making your campsite stand out and easier to locate. With its all-new Full-Fly design options are everything. Roll it out to create a handy vestibule area perfect for storing gear or muddy shoes out of the way; roll it up to get that perfect covered awning great for shade and weather protection; or take it completely off and enjoy the open all mesh ceiling - perfect for ventilation or an evening just enjoying the scenery. Your rainfly is also seam-taped for added water resistance. The entryway to your tent has been designed to house storage in the conveniently located footlocker (which can be accessed from inside or outside the tent) with a wide mud mat that helps to keep dirt and other debris from being tracked in and a large doorway provides maximum ease of entry. Ozark Trail has everyone s camping needs in mind with a four-section integrated storage pocket a hanging media pocket overhead gear loft and even a rubber zipper pull tab for easier access. Family fun
I ordered this tent before we got quarantined, hoping to go camping. We have been unable to yet. Our weather has also been very wet and dreary lately here. We decided to put it up in the backyard though for a night on family fun. It was perfect! Now I've never set up a tent, mind you so it wasn't easy for me to try to set up... hubby got it set up in under 15 minutes though. There was just enough room for my husband and I and two children. I love the pockets inside for storage so the baby can't get to our phones. With our wet weather we really got to test out the tent and can say that as well as the inside stayed nice and dry. When we were done it was very easy to disassemble and put back in the bag for portable easy carrying.
Ozark Trail Dome Tent
I've been looking for a new dome tent for me and the boys. The one I have is huge and takes so much time to put up in the field. This tent came at the right time. I noticed immediately that the rain fly comes 75% of the way down of the tent. Most 2-3 season tents have a rain fly that only covers the top 1-2 feet. This is a huge plus in my book as it will help protect the tent from water during a rain storm. We haven't tested it yet outside or in the rain due to the current shelter in place order. However, the cubscouts did a virtual camping trip last weekend, so I took the tent to the basement and put it up. It was very simple and easy and only took me a few minutes to get it set up. I am 6'7" tall and this tent was plenty big for me and my 7 and 4 year old. I was easily able to put a king size air mattress inside of it and it slept all 3 of us comfortably and probably still have 1-2 foot of room on the side of the air mattress for clothes and flashlights and whatever gear you wanted. I didn't of course put the rain fly on because of being in doors, but I am currently planning a camping trip for next weekend and the boys are already asking if we're going to get to use their tent! They absolutely love it. I am curious to see how well the shoe door will work but was unable to test it out because you have to actually stake it down in the dirt to keep it open. Definitely love the tent and recommend it for a quick and easy set up.
Great tent!
I really like this tent. The set up was easy and the instructions were clear. It took me around 15 minutes total to set up and around 10 to take back down and fold back up and into the bag. The floor of the tent is spacious, and has enough room for a queen sized air mattress, with room to spare. I was able to lay down comfortably, without my head or feet touching anything. This tent is better for warmer weather. The temperature dropped into the 40s while I was using this, and it did get a little cool inside the tent but it kept the wind and rain out, and I still felt cozy and comfortable in my sleeping bag. I also really enjoy the bright green color, it makes it so much easier to spot where your camp site is, and looks pretty nice as well. Definitely a good tent for a weekend camping trip.
