I have had good experience with Epson printers over the years. Quality and reliability are noteworthy. Unfortunately this particular item had a defect. When I contacted Epson they were empathetic, understanding and are sending a replacement free of charge including shipping.

Having trouble using scanner, I could not get it to scan after using instructions. Instructions were not lay people's understanding in my opinion. I am not happy with this printer and either wish to sell it or return it. It is in excellent condition and not been mistreated or damaged. Mary

Old fashioned printer

I thought I was getting a great printer since it's an Epson. The printer operations are very clunky with multiple button pushes needed to work through simple operations. I was very shocked to see that I had to work through up, down, right, and left arrow buttons to operate stuff on the separate display. Be aware that it has a screen, but it is not a touchscreen. It's slow and the paper loads in the back like a Y2K printer. Terrible. I should have paid closer attention to what I was purchasing. Tried to save a buck, but now I'm having to purchase another printer to replace this. You get what you pay for.
