Tree House Bunk Bed - Rustic White with Light Gray Frame

My 6 year old daughter loves this bed. The bed came delivered in a long slender heavy box. It took about 5 hours to put together ( with multiple breaks) with the help of my 11 year old son. Everything is labeled which makes it not so difficult to put together it's just time consuming. I love to put furniture together so I enjoyed assembling this bed. If your not good at or don't like putting furniture together I would suggest you get at least 2 people to do it for you. Every piece of the bed has pre-drilled holes in it except for the bed rail that you put the bedframe slates on so I had to use a small drill. I prefer metal bedframe slates over wooden slates, however these wooden slates seem to be durable. The bottom of the bed which attaches to the stairs is a bit wobbly but not dangerously so. A mattress on the bottom may seem to solve that minor issue. The white and grey paint on the bed is very rustic and gender neutral. It is very important to make sure all holes on the outside of the bed are lined up. I made that mistake on the window part ( all screws should be on the inside). You will need a small ladder, chair or something to stand on to put on the roof of the house. It is a very awesome bed that even my 11 year old son enjoys playing under. I put fairy lights on the bottom of the bed. This bunk bed Should last my daughter for another 6 years up until the preteen age or until she wants a regular bed.

This bunk bed has added so much fun and aesthetics to my son’s room, we are all extremely happy! After it is assembled this bunk bed is really great. I do have a few comments on the assembly process. My husband is a carpenter by trade, so he did not have too hard of a time putting this together. That being said, it did take him a little less than two hours to complete the project. The instructions say specifically not to use a drill and to use your own Philips screwdriver and the Allen wrenches that are provided, but that seemed like an impossible task. He used an impact driver with an Allen bit and he claims that it probably cut the time in more than half. To drive roughly 40 long screws by hand would be quite tedious to say the least. The directions are simple enough and all of the holes were pre-drilled and where they were supposed to be, so that was a giant relief. The actual structure itself is extremely sturdy for hours of play. My son instantly loved his new playhouse! He has quickly mastered using the ladder to climb up and down into the top bunk and we have left the bottom open as a hideaway play area. One if his favorite things to do is to wave out the little window in the playhouse which is located at the perfect height on the house. We were so honored to receive this through the Spark Reviewer program and are extremely grateful. It has quickly become my son’s favorite piece of furniture in the whole house and I can often find him playing in his tree house bunk bed. My whole family definitely recommends this tree house bunk bed for any child’s bedroom/playroom!
