Safety 1st Wood-and-Metal Flat Slat Gate, Grey

My grandson just started walking so I needed something to keep him safe. The Safety 1st Wood-and-Metal- Flat Slate Gate helped me do that. I was able to keep him in the same room with me when I needed to. This gate was easy to install. It is a pressure-mounted gate so installation was quick. My doorway is less than 32 inches so I did not have to add the included extensions. This gate can extend up to 38 inches wide. The gate is 28 inches high, so my toddler can not climb over it. The instructions were simple to follow and included pictures. The gate only took me 10 minutes to set up without the added extensions. Not only is this gate extremely stylish with its metal and wood finishes, but it also has some great features. I like that it has a visual indicator on the top slat. If the gate is open at all it will show red in the window. If it is closed completely it will be all green. This gate also includes wall cups with adhesive pads to help the mounts stay in place. Another great feature I like is that it has swing stops at the bottom. When you use the stops the gate will only swing in one direction or will not swing at all when you use both at the same time. This gate is made from high-quality materials and is very durable. I am very happy with it. 

If you are looking for a sturdy gate that will stay in place then this is a great choice. I got the gate to use for my dog but it fits so firmly in place I think it would definitely contain a toddler lol!! It is a nice looking gate, pretty easy to install once you read all the instructions and get the necessary adjustments made. I like that there is no drilling so no repairs when I no longer need it but still feels really secure. It is also a nice looking gate and easy to leave in the open position when you do not need the containment protection it offers. Recommend this gate for kid use -- both human and canine.
