The inside flocking keeps your fingers dry (from sweat), feels comfy. The rubber is a good thickness to last but still flexible enough to give a nice feel to whatever you are handling. Gloves also have a good length to cover your wrists and forearm. There is an optional fold section at the end opening which can create a dripguard, to keep liquid from running down your arm. The XL size fits my big hands just fine.
