I bought this because of all the positive reviews I read about it. It was delivered before the given delivery date. It's 2 lbs of powdered clay, and you mix equal amounts of the powder and raw apple cider vinegar or water. The directions say to apply a 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick layer and let it dry for 5-10 minutes for sensitive skin and 15-20 min for normal skin. It also says that you will feel your face pulsate. After using it 3 times so far, here's my deal - The first time I used it I did 2 level measuring tablespoons of clay and 1 tbs vinegar and 1 tbs water, just to see how my skin would handle the vinegar. I applied probably about a 1/2 inch layer and still had a bunch left over. Putting it on that thick takes approximately 30-40 minutes to ALMOST dry, and getting that 1/2 inch layer off is time consuming and really messy. I find that one slightly mounded tablespoon of clay and 1 tablespoon of vinegar is plenty to do my face and neck. I don't put that thick of a layer on, just enough to totally cover my skin so you can't see any pores. I apply it and then do other stuff, so I usually have it on for about 30 min. I hold a soaking wet hot washcloth to my face until it's re-moistened, and then wipe it all off. I, personally, did not feel my face 'pulsate', just felt it get tighter as the clay dried. Your face will be slightly red after you wash it off, but it doesn't take long for it to go away. I can definitely see and feel a difference in my skin. My problem oily areas that break out (forehead and chin) are not as oily and the breakouts are really almost gone. The rest of my face is smoother and softer, my pores don't seem as big and noticeable, and my skin doesn't look as ruddy. I do it twice a week, and using only 1 tbs each time, this container should last a pretty long time. I most definitely recommend it.
