Allow solution to stand 1-5 minutes. Do not allow solution to dry on fabrics. Blot with white towel. Repeat until stain is not visible. Rinse carpet with clean water and blot until dry. For upholstery: Do not apply solution directly on stain. Apply with clean white towel and use towel to blot out stain. Repeat until stain is not visible. Then, dampen a clean white towel with water and blot area to rinse. Cleaner, Whiter, Brighter. Add to every load. Safe for all colors. Top Loader: Fill washer with water. Add OxiClean and detergent BEFORE adding laundry. Fill to Line 1 for regular loads, or more for large heavily soiled loads. HE Waser**: Add OxiClean to washer BEFORE adding laundry. **Do not mix OxiClean with detergent in the dispenser. Read your HE owner's manual instructions. Read before use. Directions: 1) Always test OxiClean on an inconspicuous area first. Rinse, allow to dry. Safe on colorfast fabrics only.2) Follow manufacturer's instructions for water temperature and for cleaning garment or item. 3) Do not use on wool, wool blends, silk, silk blends, leather, or on fabrics labeled dry clean only. Not for use on jewelry, latex paints, woven baskets, unpainted wicker, jute, teak, or finished woods. Metals must not be soaked and must be rinsed immediately and thoroughly. Not for use on rust, dried paint, or bleach damage. Safe for septic tanks.4) OxiClean works best in warm to hot water. If washing with cold water, first dissolve OxiClean in 16 oz. of warm to hot water. Add to cold water.5) Treat stains while fresh. Always rinse well with cool water. Do not place fabric that has not been thoroughly rinsed into dryer.6) Some stains require repeated or longer treatments. Adding more OxiClean powder than directed increases the risk of color loss. Tough laundry stains. Mix until completely dissolved. Use warmest water possible Use solution within 6 hours. 1) Fill scoop to line 2 to 4 per gallon of water. Submerge stained items in solution after dissolved. Line 2 for typical stains or Line 4 for extra tough stains. 2) SOAK 1-6 hours. Depending on severity of stain, some stains may require more time to soak. For best results soak for 6 hours. 3) WASH as normal with detergent and OxiClean.

Works great; use as refill for 3lb container
Oxiclean is great for whites loads - we add it to each whites load and it definitely helps to keep whites in better shape. This is a great value amount, but not very easy to use in this box as is...I like to use it as a refill for the 3lb container with the sturdy lid, though, so I know it's not going to get opened and touched...and then put this box up till I need more. I also used to use it for spots and removal of stains, but I find the Oxiclean MaxForce Gel stick to be much easier for that. This powder does work, but then I have little powder pieces that I'd have to deal with cleaning up...the gel stays where I want it to.

I had a pair of pink pants that I stupidly wore to work in outside and got some nasty stains on them from miracle grow potting soil. I tried everything to get the stains out nothing worked I was so sad because i loved those pants. So I got some OxyClean and made a paste out of it and worked it into all the stained area and left it for a day then washed them in the washing machine. When the cycle was finished I pulled the pants out and my chin about hit the floor, every bit of the stain was gone I could not believe it!

I use in every load of laundry!
Can’t recommend Oxi Clean highly enough. I throw some in with every laundry load and it get stains out almost every time!! Rarely have I had it fail to remove a stain. I make sure to let it dissolve in the wster before putting my laundry in the washer, just in case (the do make a color safe option but not in the larger box). But Oxi Clean has made a believer out of me.
