Perfect toaster!

I had to replace a ten year old toaster from a different brand. I didn't realize how bad it was until I got this Cuisinart toaster. It toasts bread evenly on both sides. Toasts just one piece of bread or and English muffin to perfection. I have no negatives to add.

Toasts evenly and satisfactorily

This toaster meets our needs. Toasts evenly. I like the simple basic features. The dial to select the doneness has to be set at the maximum setting to get the results we like. Sometimes, I repeat the toasting cycle to achieve the doneness we like. I need to use tongs to get the toast out.

A Good Toaster, but…

I purchased this toaster based on a recommendation from wirecutter. The pros are, I like the size of the toaster, it toasts quickly, it looks professional and has the features I was after. I'm disappointed that the bagel button does not toast one side of bagel but both sides and just extends the toast cycle. In my mind, this is not what a bagel button is supposed to do. Another disappointment, is that the toasty lever when pushed feels a bit cheap and tinny, would like a more positive feel.
