Vet's Best Flea and Tick Yard and Kennel Spray for Dogs - 32oz.

The product is a liquid soap in a sprayer that attaches to a garden hose. The liquid has two functions; while the soap is still moist, it kills fleas, larva, and eggs. The soap is made from essential oils, like clove oil and three others, that have odors that the fleas hate. The oils drive the fleas away. (Many other flea products use the same oils for the same reason.) I sprayed my fences and the plants in front of them first, hopefully creating a barrier to keep new infestations away. I didn't know what to expect, so I didn't recognize that I had used up the soap: just plain water was coming out. That didn't cause any problems. I'll recognize it in the future. I had already spread diatomaceous Earth on the deck. I think that it might have been better to use this foam on the deck first, but the diatomaceous Earth is very effective at killing the fleas, so it probably won't make a difference. The temperature starts dropping below 43.3 degrees F in a couple of days, so the adult fleas without warm shelter will die. I have been using another product with the same oils directly on my dogs. Hopefully, after the "freeze," it will prevent reinfestation by newly hatched adult fleas. In the early Spring, I plan to use nanitodes, the microscopic worms that live in the soil and eat the flea eggs and adolescent stages. (They feed on fire ants, too.) I'm using this method because one of my dogs has severe allergies to the incecticides, including flea collars.,

This Vet's Bes Flea and Tick Yard Spray is the best smelling bug spray I've ever used!!! I had my grandson spray it on my yard for me. When he started spraying there were little bubbles flying everywhere (you can see them on the picture I posted with this review). I was laughing. And then the wonderful scent began to drift my way. I couldn't put my finger on what the smell was. I kept thinking is that cinnamon? Clove? So I came in and did some research on it to see just what that great smell was. Well it's a peppermint oil and clove extract. And it smells amazing. I could smell it strong outside and in my garage where the hose was kept for days. I mean it smelled so good I would use it as a scent in my house. So not only does it smell great but it is a blend of natural essential oils and plant based ingredients. Peppermint Oil and Clove are the essential oils used. It is safe for butterflies and bees though. Mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles and plants are not affected by it. So it is safe for all pets, children, and adults. It will kill many different kinds of pests though. Fleas, Flea Larvae, Ticks, Mosquitoes, ants, etc. are just some of them. I like that it can not only be used on lawns, but gardens, patios, flowers, siding, brick, paint and parks. This 32 oz. size treats 4,000 sq. ft. You just attach the spray bottle to the hose and spray with a sweeping motion. It is quick and easy! It says to spray every 7-10 days if you have an infestation problem to start with and then apply every 30-45 days. I saved the spray bottle because you can get the refill for it and it saves money. I would highly advise this spray. It is amazing!!!
