I was doubtful about getting a Lamy AL-star for such a low price. However, now that I have it and have used it for a few weeks, I'm sold. Another review complained about the nib being scratchy. I got the medium nib and it is a smooth as silk. I'm thinking this may become my everyday carry pen.
