Anemic Dog Responds to Liquid Iron
My dachshund is now anemic and needs to take a liquid iron. My vet recommended this and I like it. I use an infant dropper to give her the medication shortly before her meals. This formula is thicker than another brand and my dog tolerates the release into her mouth well and seems to like the taste. I do not like that Walmart took 10 days to ship it to me. The liquid iron has restored my dog's energy.
