Aroma Rice Cooker Bonded Granite 6-Cup Rice Cooker, White - Automatic Shut-Off, Nonstick

This is my second rice pot from this manufacturer. That doesn't sound like a recommendation but I used them a lot. They are very, very easy to use and come with a rice measuring cup and a nice little plastic paddle so that you don't scrape the inside of the pot. It is as simple as dumping in the rice, water and salt, pushing a button and walking away for 20 minutes. Mine have gone kaput after 6-7 years but they are very inexpensive.

I purchased the smaller rice cooker last year. My daughter and I discovered you can actually cook way more than just rice in it. We cook pasta, rice and soups in it mostly. After learning how to cook so many things in it, we decided to make the upgrade to the larger one. We made a great choice. My oldest daughter borrowed it and like us, she just has the small one. She called later and couldn't stop talking about how much more she loved the large one. We highly recommend, if you have the room on your counter or to store it between uses, to buy the larger one and forget the smaller one.
