This is a great lifejacket for my son. The straps are adjustable and the vest is well-made. It has held up to many pool days so far and we plan to take it to the beach soon as well!

I like it because something is better than nothing (although I personally think they are all the same, unless you get a professional grade one that the USCG wears); although this (like all the others) have a label that says it's USCG approved. Anyway, for those that are complaining about it being too tight, they straps are adjustable, and it's not supposed to be loose fitting. It's meant to fit snugly, and you're not meant to have something loose on you to save your life when you're drowning. This was for my toddler son, who is 2 and wears a 2T. This isn't as good as the infant ones that keeps them floating on their backs in case they go into the water face-down... but still better than nothing.
