I bought this to make a village salad akin to one we recently had in a mediterranean bistro. You mix chopped and seeded red peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes with red onion and parsley mixed with a little olive oil, lemon juice, and oregano. Then, after you plate it, you drizzle balsamic glaze on the top and put a little feta cheese on it. you do need to use full fat feta.

You can't beat the price here at Walmart for this feta. This is my go to when I can't get my favorite brand which is hard to get. The taste is almost identical to the more expensive brand. I just wish that they would make it with goat or sheep milk since that's the traditional way and it's how my favorite brand makes it. Second best is just as delicious and I do recommend this product

😊👍this is a very good cheese...I'm guessing that the word Feta put me off..my son'n'law is from Bulgaria and he has a little bit different pallet than we do. although we are a 2nd Gen. Hungarian family we haven't had this cheese b4...I'm sooooo glad that I finally tasted it.! now I use it quite a bit in so many ways.!! it's kinda like a cross between cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese.!! Sooo delicious.!! Everyone should be open to try different types of foods.. I was stuck in my own world especially where cheese was concerned,,but not anymore.!! 😊👍❤️
