Simpson 61248 Clean Machine 2.5 GPM 3400 PSI CRX Engine Gas Pressure Washer

The good: it cleans. It cleans great. A million times better and faster than the electric I used to use. Tiny bits I wish were different after using it once. 1). The handle is upright like a dolly style, but the wheels are such that it only pushes, not pulls. Awkward. 2). No green tip when this seems like the most common ‘middle ground' tip for cleaning. 3) no throttle. Not sure if this would come in handy, but it might. 4). Need to hold the wand trigger to release water pressure when starting. It said in the manual this could be a thing. Is it common on most machines? I don't know. But thats all just me being picky. For a reaidential unit on a budget, I am very happy after the first use.

I bought the 3400 with the driveway attachment last month. We spent about 6 hours so far of mixed use. We power washed the skylights in my garage, some fencing and about 1000 sq ft of driveway, covered in a black mold or something else. It has been easy to use- my 36 year old daughter did the driveway work fairly effortlessly. Starts easy, plenty of power. No need for the much more expensive ones for most needs. If you do get the higher pressure units, consider the cost of hoses and really any attachment- they cost much more to handle the 4000 psi and above.
