This is the cereal I would take if I were embarking on a very long voyage and could only take one. It has a terrific flavor combination which includes just a bit of sweetness from the cranberries. It holds its own in milk and gives just the right chewability (as do the other GG cereals I have tried). And its healthy too. If I'm ever unlucky enough to have to choose a last meal this might well be it.

I received Great Grains cereal to try out at no cost to me in exchange for an honest review and the opinions are my own. I am a cereal lover and my favorite kind are ones with a crunch like flakes, clusters and/or nuts paired with sweetness like dried berries or dates or raisins, and I was excited to see that Great Grains was exactly that! When I have grains and nuts early in the day, I know I'm going be getting the protein and the fiber I need. I instantly noticed that I stayed full for 2 to 3 hours after which is perfect. I had no highs or lows with my blood sugar and what I also really liked was the balance of sweetness to the grains. It wasn't too sweet where it will cause me to have sugar cravings and great grains helped with that and I was very surprised and happy that I hadn't had a Snickers bar yet and it was 3 PM! That's a win of a cereal! Another thing I liked is that it is certified non-GMO and you're getting some of your essential vitamins and minerals. And the best thing I noticed was It has a short ingredient list compared to most cereals!!! You can read every word and know what it is. That's almost impossible in the cereals you find in the grocery stores these days! in my opinion, it taste great. It keeps you feeling satisfied for several hours, it causes no sugar dips or dips in your energy levels and it helps curb your sweet tooth! So I highly recommend this product and I definitely will be buying more myself so I can continue to have these benefits!
