FoodSaver VS1210 Space Saving Vacuum Sealing System, Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Foodsaver VS1210 helps extend the life of food by vacuum sealing and the machine doesn't take up too much room. I like that the machine can be stored flat or vertically, which makes it easy to put away the Foodsaver when not in use. The downside of this being a space saving version of a Foodsaver is that it doesn't have a bag or roll cutter installed inside. I don't mind just using a pair of scissors instead and rather have a smaller machine. The machine is easy to use with just three buttons. I like that it also has the ability to use other Foodsaver accessories in addition to sealing bags. It did not take much of a learning curve to use this machine. I don't find it any less powerful than full size Foodsavers. One negative of this machine is that it does require a bit of muscle strength to lock the machine down before being able to use it. The cover has to be pressed on both sides before you can start to seal or vacuum which might be difficult for some people with strength issues. The Foodsaver is useful to store groceries in the freezer and to separate up items bought in bulk. I also like to use it to seal things like bags of chips and other snacks. I think this is a good vacuum sealer overall and especially good if you are low on space and want one with a smaller footprint.

I have a betting obsession, but with the space bags I'm able to squish everything and everything fits neat and tidy!!
