More than I expected

Bought this for a Middle School SpEd teacher to utilize with students (previously had purchased an item similar, but larger, for an elementary SpEd teacher). It does come as pictured. I feel it is smaller than expected (my fault, the specifications are listed with the product, I just failed to realize the size), so if purchasing for a child with fine motor skills challenges, they might need help putting it together and learning how to use it. The ring is convenient for children with fine motor challenges as they do not need to worry about holding the product while trying to read. This product is very small and compact. It does come in a case, which is nice, but the case is very small as well (little bigger than a credit card). The product would fit nicely in a pocket for easy transport, and the case will prevent damages, but if you are using for a child who tends to misplace things, I would definitely recommend an assigned place for this item. Overall, pleased with the product. Would definitely recommend purchasing for home use, or for teachers who have older students, that might not have a lot of space to store tools for their kiddos to use.
