this sourdough starter kit comes with a beautiful 1,000 ml or a little over 4 cup glass measuring jar that has a wooden lid with a pop out digital reader in the middle of it for humidity and temperatures. Personal choice as to whether to use Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature and humidity is the bigger number in the middle of the digital real it's very very easy to read and if you need to change the battery it takes the LR44 which it came with and works. The measurements for the milliliter and cups are very easy to read on the side of the jar there's no problem eating mistaken either one of them and the jar is nice and light easy to carry and a being glass it will be breakable. The only instructions that are shown on this kit is that the sensor cannot be gotten wet and to take your starter kit and put it in and then seal it with the top of that led which has the digital sensor reader in it needs popping in or pop it out as you need. I need to buy a starter kit so it will take me a few days to be able to figure out what to do from this point but from what I can see it certainly going to make this fermented process of much easier job because I've heard some horror stories about how hard it can be so I'm really pleased with this I would very much recommend it to people who are intending to make their own sourdough bread and like I am and it certainly seems an easier way to go about this messy business of fermenting. I find this to be an okay battery for the money I thought it was kind of pricey for what you get but it is very well laid out and easy to read no problems with mistaking anything which is nice so yes I guess it is a pretty good value for the money and certainly it's a nice little set I completely recommend it and hope anybody who would want to make soda bread would use this.
