Worth the money

I was amazed by how well this machine dethatched my centipede lawn. Set at 3/8” I was emptying the catch basket every 30'. This is the perfect lawn tool when used regularly to over-seed and aerate your lawn. The only drawback I have is how often you need to empty the catch basket but with regular sessions it should become less. Nice tool.

Not a lawn mower

Works really well. It is not a lawn mower! All those people who left bad reviews didn't even understand that this tool is not meant to cut grass. It's meant to remove dead grass or to scarify grass. Which it does well. Blade is very easy to remove and reattach.

Nice unit dethatches effectively

Relatively lightweight, mostly plastic, but motor seems powerful and it dethatches well. It also scarifies, which tears up the lawn. Effective and low cost but instructions say to use 50 ft maximum cord which is limiting. But this is due to power draw which would be true for all 120 volt corded dethatchers.
