The texture is very smooth. It is a thick yogurt, but I like the consistency. It is not gelatinous or runny like some yogurts. And it's very high in protein, which is a bonus. And it's a low calorie food, since it has no fat. It is an excellent snack, especially for people with diabetes.

I eat yogurt not for the sheer joy of a tasty treat because let's face it, unless you crumble Oreos and drizzle Chocolate syrup on it there is no exciting flavor sensation when it hits your taste buds. I eat it because it's suppose to be good for me and frankly this one particular brand does not suck. The consistency is better than others I have tried and it is palatable enough when mixed with some berries that you can tolerate it. I still don't know how to pronounce the name so if I can't find it on the shelf I will forgo asking for fear of sounding insensitive and offending those around me. This is the only plain greek yogurt that I will eat and my dog also likes it spread on a lick mat and frozen so we both reap the benefits of Greek yogurt, even though I've forgotten what the benefits are. If you've been told to eat Greek yogurt for the health benefits, don't even bother trying other brands. This one is the GOAT.
