Start with a clean litter box - After opening the box containing the litter pan liners - Remove one liner from the package - Place the one litter box liner into the bottom of the litter pan folding the top edge of the liner over the side of the pan - Fill litter box with 3 inches of litter covering the bottom of the liner- For easy cleaning, pull drawstrings together, lift the liner up and tie strings together - Dispose the used liner with regular garbage - then repeat.

This liner bag is a great fit for the litter box. I would tape back the excess on the old liner so litter and waste wouldn't get caught in the folds. Also, there is less chance of tearing when nails get caught. The liner material is thick enough so I don't anticipate tears or rips. So far we are very satisfied with this new litter box liner.

My 90 year old mother says they are exactly what she wanted. Biggest thing is how well the bag contours to the shape of the liter box. It lays pretty flat with out a whole bunch of bunched up plastic.

Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
This product has made my time cleaning litter boxes so incredibly easy. Someone FINALLY made a litter box liner that actually fits the box, from corner to corner - Thank You, AlfaPet! The flat bottom liner is a Godsend! Prior to receiving them I was skeptical that they would fit my kitties XL stainless steel boxes properly. I was so delighted all doubt was removed. I have 4 stainless steel boxes and they hold up well per box for a week's worth of use. They could very well last longer but I have more than a few cats, so I have to change out completely on a weekly basis. The cats did manage to paw through one but it was so minor that I could not find the scratch mark. I do place a pee pad between the box and the bag so, it is not a problem. And the urine that got through was a very little amount btw. I am thrilled, thankful and grateful for AlfaPet making the chore of litter box cleaning truly a breeze, what with a plastic drawstring to pull up the liner and easily discard. What an efficient and effective game changer!
