It tends to jam with cheap crayons ex. Freebie crayons from Chuck E Cheese or Restaurants Try to use only Crayola or better crayons. The wax is sturdy enough to not break inside as much. Also, 1-2 second bursts when sharpening. In %26 Out Make sure the sharpener is in correctly, follow those steps %26 you will notice that it will sharpen as intended. We sharpened about 20 crayons %26 it only jammed 3x when we didnt follow the process. Keep trying!
