[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV replaced my older 4K TV, which is significantly better in image quality and sound with a few tweaks. Installation: super easy, 4 screws at the bottom of the stand. Put it flush against the back of the screen and screw in 4 longer screws. Gently flip the screen upright on a stand. It's easier with two people, but the tv is lightweight enough to be done by one person. Remove the film along all edges. Image quality: It's 4K and super crisp. Everything looks better than in real life. Foods look so juicy that they look like they are jumping out of the screen. Image colors: The is where I had to play around with. It accentuated magentas/ reds and turquoise blues. What fixed it for me was to go into Color Space in the display settings and change it from Native to Auto. I also increased Saturation and decreased Color Temperature a bit. Sound: it has Bang and Olufsen speakers. I played around with the sound but couldn't get what I wanted. It either sounded too brassy or too tinny and overall it sounded like someone was talking into a bucket, especially on high volume settings. On low volume, it sounded really good. But I wanted to be able to listen to music and enjoy the quality of the sound on high volume settings. For that, I bought a generic sound system and it worked great. Speed: it turns on super fast, any videos or streams start playing right away. The remote buttons are very responsive and fast. Apps: coming from an older TV, I had no idea how many free content apps this TV offers: from Google TV platform to on demand movies to live streaming and scheduled broadcasting. To sum it up: it's a superb upgrade ti a 4K tv that has crisp image quality with a few correctable tweaks, offer plenty of free content apps and it fast and highly responsive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got this TV, I was not familiar with the TCL brand. The TV has wildly surpassed my expectations- it's made my previous 55” brand-name 2018 tv look like it was of poor quality in comparison. The blacks on the TCL are incredibly dark and the colors bright and vivid. Setup was easy for the TV and the associated Google TV features. I can now just tell my TV to turn on Netflix or Prime without touching a button. Motion smoothing was on initially and it looks like it'll be great during football season, but I prefer most shows without. It was very easy to customize the TV's features to my and my husband's display preferences. The TV fully utilizes the 55” rather than having a significant bevel/border. I used to need to turn on my TV, then my PS5, then go to apps, then go to the service I want. Now it's just one simple remote. Speaking of PS5s, video games also look great on it. I am so happy I had the opportunity to upgrade my TV. I had no idea how much I was missing out on by sticking with an older TV.
