A great smart thermometer

My husband is the grill master of the family. He uses the instant read battery thermometers which work fine but are definitely not high tech. What to buy someone that has everything-a smart cooking thermometer. He absolutely loves this and has told everyone to purchase 1. This connected immediately to our Wi-Fi and through blue tooth/app it worked perfectly on his iPhone. He cooked steaks the first time when he used this and they were perfection. He liked the fact that he didn't have to keep opening the grill to check the thermometer. This notified him on his phone when it should be turned and when done. I am ordering the extra probes (can have a total of 3) for large grilled meals. The instructions say that the battery lasts 40 hours which is really a great thing-so far we have about 10 hours in and the charge is strong. I think that this will be a perfect wedding gift for an upcoming wedding that we are attending. M

I love to cook 👩‍🍳 but I'm always cautious when making meat or even a simple baked potato's in the oven or steak on my grill . I splurged and bought this fancy thermometer. Installing the app and pairing it with the phone was easy . All steps were clearly written out . I have used the Probe a few times so far . But my first one was a simple baked potato's in the oven . I wanted to understand how it works . You prep your potato , put it in the oven and stick the thermometer in one of the potato's . It will then connecting with your phone and tell you the internal temperature, the targeted temperature- it also will calculate how many minutes it will take to bake the potato's , i know I started with a potato but it helped me to feel more secure when using it on meat . The app has a gallery of recipes . Taking a screenshot of the Ingredients and you can go shopping to buy the supplies . So far , I'm pleased with my purchase . It's a wonderful gadget, helpful and has so much more to offer than just bring a thermometer. Yes , it is pricey but like I said it's more than just a thermometer, you are getting an online cookbook plus it will show you many items step by step . All is easy and clearly written out . Wonderful gift for any person who loves to cook abd grill

I love this thermometer. The freedom from wires is awesome. The app is amazing! Tons of recipes included. It talks and tells you when to flip the food. They thought of everything. You can choose what you are cooking and what you are cooking on, stove, grill airfryer, etc. There are pictures at various temperatures, rare to well done to choose from as well as the chef recommendation. So far, I've used it on different cuts of steak, burgers and salmon. You select how thick the cut is to accomplish the perfect temperature. I was so pleased with it I posted it on social media to share with friends and tell everyone about it. This was a great purchase!
