If you ever worked in a reputable restaurant, this is the typical high quality chef's knife which was never put away - it was always in use. Ultimate comfort in the hand and an absolute pleasure to use for any and all prep work. Japan makes some of the finest cutlery in the world. This fine item is razor sharp and a brief on-line video available on many sites will quickly show how to never cut yourself. And a gentle reminder to always wash carefully, only by hand. Enjoy!

This is the most beautiful Chef Knife. It arrived well packaged. Oh the beauty when I opened the box. The knife was surrounded by red velvet, a bolster, and a vip card. The stainless steel blade is high quality. I tried the knife out and it is very sharp and fits my hand perfectly. Preparing meals will be enjoyable using this chef knife. Very happy with it. Would also make a wonderful gift.
