If you have a slow leak like I did, this combination works great. The socks conform to the shape and the mats absorb the water. I have also used these in a flooding situation and they worked well to contain water

These are an absolute must-have for water leaks. They absorb as described. The pads dry well and are good for more than one use. The socks are terrific. They take a bit to dry but once dry, they are ready to go again. This is a good kit to have before, if, and definitely when you have the need. We have purchased 2 kits in the last 1.5 months. Haven't needed to use all of the pieces, but we have them just in case. This is a good purchase.
