Nature's Path Organic Breakfast Cereal, Mesa Sunrise, 26.4oz Bag

Eating this cereal makes me feel like I'm actually doing something good with my diet. I love that it's organic. It has multiple nutritious grains like, amaranth, quinoa and omega 3 filled flax seed, and others. I also like that the added sugar is on the much lower end, only 4gm. It tastes plenty sweet for me despite the lower sugar, and none of the fake sugars! I think this cereal would still be excellent and sweet enough with a couple of less added sugars. I like it so much I need fewer added sugars because I can't stick to one bowl, and my serving size is not the same as the one listed on the package! Years ago I used to treat myself to Captain Crunch (not often because of the sugar and whatever else is in it). I liked the taste and loved that it didn't go soggy too fast. This cereal also doesn't go soggy too fast and is loaded with the good grains mentioned above. I haven't eaten it as a snack, as in reach into the bag and pull a handful out to munch. Even though I haven't done that I still eat it whenever I want, but with milk, although I call those sessions meals.

This is a tasty, healthier-than-most cereal. My husband cannot wheat, which is in so many cereals, but this one contains spelt and other grains, which do not hurt him, so we love it!
