Gain Flings are the Thing!
Gain is a little more expensive than other brands but it does a great job leaving clothes clean and pleasant smelling. No measuring or having bottles of detergent all over the laundry closet. Pods dissolve well in the wash without leaving a soap residue - that's a plus because some brands leave white streaks. Fresh laundry is worth the extra price!

it hurt my wallet to pay for Gains brand name but it got the best reviews. works well but i need to buy a laundry additive of some kind to totally get rid of the slight lingering smell of body oils. i thought about buying liquid since the consumer gets more for the money. but the trade off is hauling a heavy bottle of dtgt around for less $ or have something light weight for more money. and since i dont have a washer in my apt., the light weight more expensive won out this time.

Fragrance is nice, it's a light, relaxing floral. I do find that sometimes there are lingering odors (such as perfume) in my laundry after washing. Stains aren't always removed completely. My biggest complaint is that the bag doesn't reseal easily after opening. You really have to work at it like a cheap, ziplock bag to get it to close. Definitely not childproof, so be be careful if you have small children or pets in the home. A bit pricey, but overall I'd say it's a good laundry detergent.
