This lantern will come in handy during our many power outages. It is small but provides a lot of light. It bests holding a flashlight for a long time. The main problem was when I ordered it, I knew it was battery operated but it didn't mention what size batteries it would need. So stock up on D batteries if you get one!!

Compact yet powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very compact yet gives out a powerful 1000 lumens light. This is a battery powered lamp. The batteries are not included. You do need to purchase and insert 3 type D batteries. I wish though there was an option to also charge the light and not use the batteries for when you don't have them. I love the convenient retractable handle. You can hang it up or just stand it up anywhere. It has four light modes which you can adjust to your preference. We will get a lot of use from this lamp. From camping trips to remodeling projects to just using it outside in the evening time.
