Edifier R2000DB 2.0 BT Shelf SpeakerWood

I had a very expensive digital piano that had some internal amplifier issues. It was about 20 years old and the only problem was the sound coming through the original speakers was distorted. Parts are no longer available for it according to my service technician. We did notice that when you used the headphone jack, the sound was clear. So I did some research and found great reviews on theses speakers and took a chance on ordering them so that I could hook them up to the piano's headphone jack and use them instead of the piano's internal speakers. I was a little hesitant because this piano is not your basic digital piano but back in the day cost almost $5,000 and has over 120 sounds including powerful organ and brass sounds, so the speakers needed to be something that could handle the low bass notes and still be clear on the high notes. I am totally satisfied with the R2000DB speakers. There is no distortion with them, they have room shaking bass and are crystal clear on the high notes. I have owend CrewinVega speakers, Bose and Infinity and had never heard of Edifier, but trust me, they hold their own with these top name brands. They sounds every bit as good as or even better than the original speakers on the piano. I couldn't be happier. For just over $200, I am able to continue to use my piano and hopefully for many more years to come. Whether you're using these as I did or if you're getting them for a bookshelf system or to hook up to your home entertainment system, I would say you will be very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the finsh and especially the awesome sound!!
