We moved into a new place that was truly infested with fleas. Before we knew it, our dogs were covered with fleas. There wasn't a place on them that didn't have a flea. We tried flea pills, sprays for the dogs, for the house and the yard. tried the granules, IGR's, nothing seemed to work more than a day or two. until we got these flea collars . I can't express my surprise at how well these worked . Yes, the outside dogs still gets fleas on them, but they're dying, and you can tell they are dying. These also have an IGR in/on them. So we are hoping this will help with the infestation .So far, so good. And the dogs inside have no fleas what so ever. so yes i would recommend this product.

I have three small dogs under 10 pounds. I was very disappointed in this flea collar. It did not work at all. All three dogs continue to have fleas for the month that they wore the collar. I finally bought some flea and tick shampoo, which worked instantly, very disappointed in the Hartz product. I definitely will be changing brands.
