You don't have to worry about the tool running away on you because the blade stops the moment you let go of the trigger, and you have to hit the thumb safety to start it up again. The handle has a good grip that stays comfortable even if your hands get a bit sweaty. The cons: Even though the thumb safety is a great feature, holding it and the power trigger down at the same time gets tiring on long projects and causes a different kind of hand cramp. Also, if you hit a staple or a thick spot, the motor jams right away, and you have to start over. Changing the blades is hard; the mechanism is stiff, making it a struggle to line up. The guard around the blade is too thick for delicate, thin fabrics like silk. It bunches up the material instead of cutting a clean line. It's good for cutting long straight runs and heavy materials, and it saves time, effort, and pain.
