The top is shiny and sparkly, and the loose pants have pretty swirl designs that make them look magical. The gold headband and earrings make her look like a real princess, and her long hair is fun to brush and style. She's perfect for pretend adventures and looks great right out of the box. She was my favorite Disney princess growing up, and she often feels overlooked compared to other princesses, so receiving this doll was a nostalgic and exciting experience for both me and my daughter. The colors and overall design are beautiful, and the doll has good movement and flexibility, which makes her fun to play with. That said, the plastic material does feel lighter and less durable compared to a traditional Barbie doll. It doesn't take away from playability, but it is something to be aware of in terms of overall quality. One important thing to note is the accessories. The tiara and shoes are secured with plastic fasteners in the packaging, and once those are removed, they do not stay on securely and can easily fall off. Because of this, I chose not to remove the fasteners to avoid the accessories getting lost, especially with child play. This could be a concern for younger kids who like to change outfits or accessories frequently. Overall, despite that downside, this was a fun and exciting doll to receive. The representation of Jasmine and the vibrant colors really stood out, and my daughter and I were excited to play with her together.
