Have had my Vitamix for over twenty years, and was used daily! Started to get a burning smell when I made anything. The base was fine, so figured it was the blade assembly inside the container. Just got the replacement from Walmart a few weeks ago. Works perfect! AND...the best part it was less than half the cost of a replacement from Vitamix. Very very happy!
