I'm very pleased with this grinder
I'm pretty impressed by this grinder. It's working well, and after a little learning curve with grind settings and times it does a very nice, very consistent job. I don't know how well each of the individual anti-static/anti-clog things works, but together they work very well, with no clogging or significant retention of grounds. I with there was a lever, or a projection to make adjusting the grind size a little easier, but maybe i have fat fingers or something. If you're not adjusting the grind setting all the time it's also not an issue. The dosing cup could be a little better designed. It would be nice if it would slide into the space with the portafilter holder in place. The dosing cup also has a lip for a 58mm portafilter. It would be easy enough to incorporate a 51mm as well, but again, this is just the dosing cup. Don't let my comments about the dosing cup dissuade you from buying this grinder, it's certainly the least important thing about this. I'm hopeful that it will hold up well. I didn't notice any significant heat while running it repeatedly. The body is stainless, the burrs are solid and sharp. If the touchscreen holds up i expect long life. Overall, I'm very pleased. Ask again in a year.

This shim is only needed after long-term use or when the grind becomes too coarse. The grinder is already calibrated at the factory, and adding the shim may cause the coffee grounds to become too fine, which can block espresso extraction. Please kindly contact our support team if you need assistance so we can help troubleshoot and provide a solution.
