Low on the aggressive scale

The Merkur 34G is a handsome razor but I have to say I was disappointed in the ability of this razor to give me a close shave even after 2 passes. I've read good reviews before I purchased the 34G so maybe my blades don't pair well. Today I ordered some Feather DE blades since they are considered the sharpest of all DE blades and give it a try. I'll hold off on recommending this razor for the time being.
