I purchased this bowl for the price, as it was on sale %26 a 1/3 the cost of the name brand version. It performed perfectly and fit my 4.5 qt stand mixer as advertised. I have made over 60 individual servings of ice cream with many different add-in flavors in the first month of owning it. I hosted my large extended family for birthdays and the ice cream was a big hit! Be sure to freeze the bowl at least 12 hours between batches and it works great.

Compact,easy, ice cream attachment..

This ice cream attachment for the Kitchen Aid mixer is so convenient. Place bowl in freezer overnight before using and it will be cold enough to make the perfect 2 qt. of ice cream with no ice or salt needed . Included in this set is a battery operated heated ice cream scoop. There are a few recipes that are included but you can find many other recipes online for the Kitchen Aid ice cream maker. Hand-wash everything and don't immerse the ice cream scoop in water.
