Inexpensive and works.

Without being too graphic, toilet paper needs to do its job comfortably without fail, while not persisting so long that it clogs up lift pumps, septic systems, and/or other downstream stages of the sewage processing systems. Once these criteria are met, it is ideally low cost. We've always found that Scott brand reliably meets performance requirements at an excellent price point, the larger the package the better.

If you are frugal, it's the product for you.

I have used this product for over 20 years. They kept their price the same for many years. However, they recently increased the price. i knew it was only a matter of time. For today, their price is still fair enough. Also, while not the softest paper out there its more about quanity and the value price.

I've used SCOTT TP for decades. However something changed in the last 6 months, besides the price. I've noticed it has a funky smell to it when I use it to blow my nose, %26 it's not as soft as it used to be. They definitely changed something in it. I'm not sure why the price went up $2.00 either. Where are they getting the materials to make it? Strange.
