Dymatize Elite 100% Micellar Casein Powder, 25g Protein, Smooth Vanilla, 4 lb

I like Dymatize products. I received the Elite 100% Micelar Casein Powder, 25g Protein, Smooth Vanilla, 4 lb. as a substitute for my regular subscription to a similar Dymatize Protein powder, which was out of stock. Although I like the substitute powder, I prefer the Dymatize product that I subscribed to, because its 5 lb size provides 76 servings, whereas the Micellar Casein's 4 lb size does not provide as many servings. Both products are in the Vanilla flavor, which goes great with milk, many fruit juices, and even plain ice-cold water. I like mixing vanilla protein powder in a smoothie with a banana, or a handfull of various types of berries, and even cooked beets that are not pickled. You might even find some great recipes for smoothies online. The one sort-of-negative-thing I would comment on is that adding a scoop or two to a shaker bottle and shaking the bottle vigorously still leaves a lot of powder residue, and if you try to use hot water, the protein powder curdles. I recommend using a really good electric "stick" mixer, like the one from Cuisinart, and using refrigerator-cold milk, juice, or water. Even with the stick mixer, there will be residue, but not as much as when hand shaking it up in a bottle. Just be carefull if you do decide to use a stick mixer, it will take a little practice to know exactly how to use it without the powder either flying all over the place, or the mixer blade getting gunked up with a blob of powder.
