This is my favorite Espom salt as well as the smell. I have a lot of leg issues and when I get in the tub, and soak the pain disappears so I can have a peaceful sleep. Lavender is very calming and relaxing to me. The instructions say soak about 20 minutes. I'll say a little longer if you can. I had no trouble going to sleep after this bath.
