Love the quart size

Works perfectly with my hand-held vacuum sealer. The quart size is great for saving just the right amounts for my husband and I. If there is a very small amount of liquid that you see being sectioned it may not pull into the device reservoir. Be sure to clean/wipe off the suction spot. Have washed %26 reused several ... dishwasher safe, works best for me. Used for meat, the seal holds perfectly in freezer. Haven't used for storing vegetables in freezer yet but did for some then stored in fridge crisper drawer, only preserved shortyime. Veggies tried were cabbage,lettuce %26 celery, Does not stop from aging/going soft/bad for long. They apparently, due to being vegetables, gave off a type of gas which slightly expanded the bags %26 created liquids. Is perfect for all travel snacks, space saving in a cooler. or other container. To do that, be sure to lay bag on flat surface, spread items in single layer, zip close bag %26 vacuum. Personally I make sure to not have anything under the suction valve that could be sucked into the device.

I have been using these bags for over a year. They are so convenient for storing in freezer and refrigerator those foods you use a little at a time. I reseal cheeses and they stay fresh for months. I, also use them for diced peppers from the garden. The smaller, reusable bags allow me to open and then seal them. Works great! This is my second order.

Great long term use!

I've been using these bags and sealers for years. Great for dry food such as beans and rice and also for freezing meats and marinades. I've washed and re-used and great seal. Like with everything, you can always tell when they're old and have surpassed their intended use. I still use ziplocks but I use these bags for long term storage use. Highly recommend because they come in both quart and gallon size.
