This is a very good brush for dog hair. I used it right away. It really grabbed the dog hair and pulled it without bothering the dog. In fact, he loves to be brushed. When I bought the brush I did not see it's other feature. There is a button to push on the back that pushes the dog hair out. You can put it over the trash can. I got two brushes full. So I am very pleased with this brush. It is for dogs and cats.

Magnificent Cat Brush

My three senior cats love this brush especially my 20 year old they just sit quietly and let brush them it's so easy to use especially getting the cat hair out of the brush you just bush the button down and peel the hair out in a single layer. I have bought several different types of brushes and they didn't work at all but with s brush I just gently stroke them and they sit quietly and let me do it for long periods of time!

I really like it. It sure is easy to get the hair out of it. that is the part that I don"t like about cleaning my cat. that hair is almost can not get hair out of her normal brush. this one is so easy I am not wearing the cat hair.
