I have been taking creatine for about eight months now and was worried about the bloating effect as a female, even though I lift heavy weights three or four times a week and I believe my body has adapted. I did some research and the creatine HCl is the best. I was using an unflavored brand and mixing it in a little bit of water or my protein shake in the morning. I got the lemon flavored of this brand and it is great with water and very easy to drink to the taste is wonderful! When I first opened it, it looked like there was nothing in there, but the scoop serving is about the size of the tip of my pinky so there are just as many servings in this small container as there is in a regular size creatine. I do feel the water retention is less and I seem to have a good boost of energy and mental clarity is better as well as Marlene muscle !
