MatchAiA Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder, Premium Culinary Grade 2.1oz/60g

The size of the container is HUGE and you get a LOT of matcha powder. I would say this is a good deal for the asking price. (I received this one free in return for my honest review, but I do plan to buy it once I run out.) I just made an iced matcha latte to try it out and it's delicious. The matcha actually tastes good, which is not something I've always experienced with other brands. Dissolved well, has a lovely green color. Not as bright as ceremonial grade, but still very nice. I can't wait to try it for baking, as well. Oh, and ice cream! I expect that, even though the container is so generously sized, I will probably use this up rather quickly.

Note: Product received for free. This is a rich and flavorful matcha. The product arrives in a vacuum sealed plastic pouch inside the tin. Getting the pouch open and transferring the powder into the tin was a little messy, but less than a teaspoon of matcha ended up wasted in the process. The tin itself also seems to seal shut pretty tightly. It also comes with a small scoop that I believe is teaspoon sized, but I could be wrong on that front. The matcha itself is very green, very earthy and very delicious. I've only had it hot so far, both as plain matcha and as a matcha latte, but I'm looking forward to making it iced next. I'm also hoping to try making ice cream with it this summer. I don't have a matcha whisk so I've been using a fork to mix it, and while that's not perfect and I have ended up with some specks of undissolved matcha in my drinks, that's my fault and not the product's. I also have found I don't need to use the ratio listed on the container for making drinks; a little of this stuff goes a surprisingly long way. Overall, if you're a fan of matcha, I definitely recommend picking up this product to have on hand!
