The best vacumn sealer I have ever owned. It is SOOO easy to use. Will buy again if this one ever goes out! I did chicken thghs in minutes.

This thing works great. I was really surprised. I first saw the more expensive name brand sealer in an advertisement, and as I went to see if Walmart carried it I came across several "off brands" making the same product. I decided this one looked like the best of the alternatives and took the risk. It has now become one of my favorite household items. I can't believe how well it works. I'm not really sure how I survived this long without it! I'm now sealing up almost everything. One trick I discovered is to put your food in another ziplock bag first, but don't close it all the way shut. Then put THAT bag into one of the vacuum bags. Now when you get done with it, your vacuum bag is still clean and can be used again without going through all the trouble of washing it out, drying it, etc. I freeze bananas all the time for my protein shakes. This keeps the bananas looking brand new. Before I had this machine, the bananas would always turn brownish, even though I tried to suck all the air out of the bag. Another tip: if you're needing to vacuum seal something like bread that's soft, first freeze it for a day, then put it in a vacuum bag and seal it up to put it back in the freezer. That way your bread or soft food doesn't become completely crushed. Love this vacuum sealer! The fact that it's rechargeable instead of using batteries is a huge bonus. Works great to extend the life of things like cold cuts or deli cheese. The food waste it prevents will pay for the device within a few months.
