I can understand why people complain about the taste! It is a bitter chocolate taste! But natural and unprocessed chocolate is actually bitter but it's healthier for you! The sweet chocolate taste that everyone loves may have sugar and dairy products added. This is all about your body's metabolism and regulating your body's glucose/ sugar levels. This chewable form is better since some individuals, including my mother, doesn't like taking anything in a capsule. She would rather crush a pill and add it to a smoothie. In addition, this brand, Force Factor, is easily accessible at Walmart and I don't have to explain the difference when asked about which brands to buy. Keep it simple silly! As for myself, I use berberine anytime I'm going to eat any junk food. Now that I'm older too, almost everything is considered junk food. But it really does depend on your body. However, berberine helps to protect my body and pushes out the extra sugar that my body doesn't need; and that's through the relegation of the metabolism and digestion process

I started taking this product approx. 2 weeks ago. I started using only 1 chew as I take blood pressure meds and wanted to see how I react to it.
