Equate Nourishing Daily Shampoo with Biotin & Collagen, 33.8 fl oz

Excellent product and a great money saver which Equate usually is. This has what I need to help regrow my hair out. Medications, hormones ,and aging (71) have reeked havoc on my once long, thick, beautiful hair. Hopefully this will help along with proper vitamins, gelatine ( internally) and the regrowth leave in conditioner that came leaking all over .

I bought this because the bottle is purple and the price was right. I can't believe how good this shampoo is. Immediately after the first use I had significantly less hair in the drain. And I mean from the usual drain is full and I have to remove the hair to finish my shower, to maybe 6 or 7 hairs. For real. The same with my morning hair brushing. Very little hair in the brush. I have oily hair and wash about every 3 days, so this shampoo takes two washes. It is not a harsh or clarifying type shampoo and the first wash doesn't lather up like most shampoos. I'm sure it's due to a lack of sodium lauryl or laureth sulfate. Maybe that's what was making my hair fall so drastic. IDK for sure. My hair is thin (each individual hair) but I have lots of it. Most shampoos leave my hair feeling "flimsy". This shampoo makes my thin hairs feel more substantial. I don't know if it's the ingredients or the fact that it's not stripping every last molecule of natural oil from my hair. I'm also using the conditioner on the length of my hair but not on my scalp. It's hard to describe how it makes my hair feel. It is definitely not like the vast majority of conditioners I've used in the past. Hair just feels good, not dry, and substantial. Scent is very unisex. Somewhat woodsy. I would say some cedar and something else slightly floral. No citrusy notes at all. Shampoo is thick, and I mean thick and the bottle is thick and heavy %232 plastic. Overall, very pleased with this product and definitely would recommend.
