Fun lick mat for pets

My dog uses a lick mat at the vet during treatments, and he loves it. I purchased this lick mat, along with some Kong squeezable treats, to use at home. It occupies and entertains my disabled dog. With his limited mobility, this is one activity he still enjoys engaging in. You could also use peanut butter, canned pumpkin, or any other soft, spreadable food. Cleanup is a bit tricky - water hits the mat and squirts all over. Bits of food get stuck in all the crevices. I recommend washing immediately after use, and soaking if any bits linger.

Lick Mats!

Love these lick mats! Nice size %26 quality. Great price point as well. I've been through some that were very cheaply made %26 some that were too small %26 poorly designed. I looked at some at the pet store that were just crazily priced. These were just right. My dogs love them. I usually put peanut butter on them (make sure it doesn't contain xylitol) but sometimes I'll put sweet potatoes or pumpkin on it. It's fun to watch them.

Use this for my dog while bathing or grooming him. Keeps him busy. Sticks to surfaces nicely. Dishwasher safe so easy clean up. Some things do get stuck in the tiny grooves so I typically soak it before putting in the dishwasher.
