Real American cheese! The cheese has a fresh clean taste and reminds me of the cheese we used to get when I was a child. Better tasting than the fresh sliced from the deli and not nearly as salty! Amazing melting on burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches with a true old fashioned flavor. Tastes great on a cold sandwich as well. I'm not a huge fan of American cheese. I like it on grilled cheese and prefer others for everything else. This tastes like American cheese but it isn't waxy and has such a good flavor. The best way to describe it is a high quality American cheese. It melted easily, tasted great, but it was still American.
